WZATCO NEO ARC Firmware Update
This new firmware enables ARC functionality in Neo projector via which audio can be taken from projector’s HDMI port. The ARC is a very useful function which provides high quality audio out (Dolby DTS and ATMOS) from the projector to the connecting device (Soundbar or Home Theater). Please follow the instructions below to update A1 projector.
Steps to upgrade firmware of WZATCO NEO – upload date 27.03.2024
Step 1: Download the ZIP file and extract the contents of the same which contains two file - MstarUpgrade9255BGA.bin and How to upgrade.txt.
Step 2: Copy the MstarUpgrade9255BGA.bin file directly to the root directory of a pen drive. Do not place the file in any directory.
Step 3: Remove the power plug from the Neo projector back side. Make sure the power supply is on.
Step 4: Insert the usb drive into the USB port at back of the projector.
Step 5: Reinsert the power cable into the projector's power port and wait for the update to happen automatically. Do not press any buttons. The upgrade dialog window will appear on the screen and upgrade will happen automatically.
To Enable HDMI ARC - Please go to settings - Projector settings - Scroll down to HDMI ARC / CEC option and click to enable it.
Once enabled, HDMI 1 port will become ARC port and you can use the same to connect to any external soundbar or receiver. The sound from the projector will be transmitted via the HDMI 1 port to the respected device.
Please note: Once the update is finished, please start the projector manually or via remote. The projector will take 5 to 10 mins to boot up post the upgrade. Please be patient and wait for the projector to return to home screen.
